Volcano Isle Coffee
Volcano Isle Tropicals began as a flower farm 25 years ago in Mountain View on the Big Island of Hawaii. We purchased it in 1987 and nine years later we started growing coffee. Now we have one over 2,700 coffee trees on more than two acres.
Our coffee is mountain grown on our own estate. Our coffee beans ripen to a deep red color and must be picked one at a time when they are ready. Our coffee is planted in cinder from the local volcano, which gives it a unique flavor due to the growing medium.
Our Volcano Isle coffee is hand-picked only at its peak ripeness, hand-washed, fermented, sun-dried, hand-raked, milled, hand-graded and roasted right here on our plantation.
